"Thank you," Lorna started, "But I'll just be going," she started, staring at Laura. It hadn't been obvious when the other girl was outside the door and because she didn't sport the same completely metal skeleton that Lorna had seen before, but now the claws just under the skin in the hands and feet were sickeningly obvious. And she couldn't help but to wonder if they weren't made at the same place. Instead of indulging her curiosity and asking though, she really wanted to give in to her desire to flee.
