As Laura entered, Nathaniel finally stepped back from Lorna, his hand pulling away slowly to let her hair fall in a quiet cascade from his finger tips. He turned and once more pushed on the door, just hard enough that it would shut without having to turn the handle.
Then he gave a gentlemanly bow toward his date and stretched an arm out to indicate their seats, "Apologies, my dear. That you had to miss the opening scene, but as the Chandelier is only now in it's proper place you haven't missed anything terribly important to the plot."
His head tilted back toward Lorna, eyes still on Laura, "You have the lovely, green-haired stowaway to thank for that. It seems she'll be joining us at Xavier's - or we'll be joining her depending on who gets their first."
The doctor moved to take his seat, "Shall we get on with enjoying the show then?"
