Bobby's confidence about the whole Magneto situation, whether it turned out to be for good or bad, made her nod. They would figure it out no matter which way the cards fell. They always did. It did make her wonder who was on the official team list now, but that was a question for another time. Right now, it wasn't as important.
She shrugged, trying to act casual about it. "It's just weird, you know? It was always weird back then, but I knew they were comin' and I could kinda prepare myself for 'em. Now it's like an invasion or somethin'." She remembered Hank, though not from meeting him in person. He'd been on the news frequently after the battle on Alcatraz. "Is he here, Hank, I mean? I thought he was some big guy in the government. I never got to meet him really, but I know who he is." She could always talk to Storm, but with so much going on Rogue wanted to bother her as little as possible. Even though the older woman gave off an air of calm and confidence, Rogue knew she had a lot to deal with right now.
"Talkin' to you helps. I talked to Ro about it a bit when she was stayin' with me, an' Remy knows to an extent. I think I'd like to talk to someone who can help me better understand what's goin' on an' what has the potential to happen."
With a deep breath in, she looked up at Bobby with an apologetic smile. "Look who brought the conversation down. Tell me about some of the kids here. Anyone I need to watch out for?" She didn't care what they talked about now, just as long as it started to veer away from the serious.
