Bobby nodded when she asked about his relationship with his family. " Honestly, it's gotten better, but there is still this separation. I'm not sure I'll ever be anything but this creature that looks like someone they loved." He said it and almost teared up in doing so. He loved his family, and it would never stop hurting him that they still looked at him 'that' way. "Any time the temperature changes they look at me like I did something."
Bobby just nodded again at the Kitty statement. He was honest with her about his friendship with Kitty, but he was trying not to stay on that subject for too long. His feelings for both women made him believe that ultimately there was no reason they shouldn't be the best of friends, but he felt the less he spoke about one to the other, the better off everyone would be. If Kitty and Rogue were going to be buddies he thought it might be best if it happened organically, without him involved in any way.
"Having Storm as a sort of constant has been really important for this place." He had great regard for the woman. She really stepped up as the backbone of the place. He wasn't close to the woman, but he respected her greatly. "We've had a lot of people showing up with their abilities coming back in spades... It's good that you are here. Good that you're back... really nice to see you again." He had missed her. At the bottom of any other things he felt after she left, he had missed her. She had been an important part of a really defining point in his life.
"ok, the blood thing is gross, and Remy?" Of course she had other people in her life that he wasn't familiar with.
