Something about getting carried away in the music and the feel of the smooth keys under her fingers let Rogue escape herself for a few minutes. She wasn't aware that she was no longer alone, her attention on the tightening and relaxing of her vocal chords and the music itself. Even as the song came to an end and her eyes opened, she looked down at her hands, rocking slightly as she played. No one who didn't have music in their soul would have been able to understand the relaxation that came from that single moment.
Her hands now idle, Rogue sighed softly and reached for her wine. As she took a sip that feeling of eyes on her made her look to the door, She nearly sputtered but managed to actually swallow and set her glass back down before returning her attention to the familiar figure in the doorway. "Bobby." She made a mental note to kill Ororo later. Perhaps Rogue had not been specific enough in her questioning about who was there or not.
She stood now, tucking long red hair behind her ear. It was this moment she'd been dreading, imagining how awkward it would be., and it did feel awkward, at least to her. Except he was smiling and not glaring almost as she'd expected. it was this very thing alone that made her cross the room and embrace him. He'd been the first person to get a real hug from her once she'd taken the cure. It was nice to give him another tight embrace again.
Pulling back she looked up into his face and mirrored his smile. "Look at you. You haven't changed at all." A little older, but still the same Bobby she remembered. "Ro didn't mention you were here."
