Re: Fast forward to New Years Eve
His mind took in the words and fitted them to other memories. The scene shifted and it was different woman, a coarser one from New Jersey. It was now the 1930's and she was playing hard to get. A knowing, playful smirk came to his face as his entire stance shifted. No longer a nervous wreck but a confident man about town.
Nathan took a step forward, his hand closing on the woman's wrist and giving a gentle, but firm tug in an attempt to spin her into his arms. His voice had changed again, this time it was that of a perfectly clean American man, "No need to play coy when it's just the two of us. You know you have me utterly enchanted."
Even more oddly, his hair was now slicked back and no longer hung past his shoulders.
