"You don't have to explain, I just worry. You know, it's kinda my thing." It was impossible not to feel relief at knowing Ororo was back at the mansion. She knew enough to help with the students and most of them knew her and respected her as a teacher, but to be put in charge of an entire school was not her dream. It had been a team effort for all of them, and they'd done pretty well. "Leave again?" she asked, the excitement fading from her voice. "Is there something going on?"
Trying not to appear concerned, Kitty turned to stand beside Ororo and face the room with a small smile. "I didn't so all of it, no. Jean-Paul helped out a lot. I figured there were still enough kids here that we should do something fun. Honestly, I didn't know it was going to be as big as this, but it seems to be a good thing."
At the mention of Logan, Kitty took a breath and tried to figure out a way to be diplomatic with her words. "I'm not really sure," she admitted uneasily. "He's been around." Or so she thought, anyway. She'd only really seen him his first night back. Other than that it had been glimpses here and there and passing hellos. "I think he tries to stay here as little as possible. He still feels like people blame him." Her voice had lowered enough so that only Ororo would be able to hear her. "I tried to tell him otherwise, but...you know how Logan is."
