Lorna cried out as she went falling down with Terry, since she was rather closely attached to the green hair which the other girl had grabbed. Lorna wasn't going to be stopped here. She refused. She had to get away.
After months of not having anything more metallic than someone's blood within spitting distance she was hypersensitive to anything metallic. So she grabbed and scooped up everything she could find, pelting the older girl with everything from the buckles off of purses left behind to the chalice and plate used for the Holy Communion.
The heavier stuff would take a bit longer to pull in, simply because some of it was firmly attached to the floor, but it too was bending their way.
