Lorna was getting more and more agitated as the Mass wore on. She swore people were staring at her. It had to be the hair color. She should have taken time to dye it, except she had been having trouble getting it to stay even before she had been taken.
Besides, they knew she had been dying her hair before they got her, so they might have been watching for her to do that. And Lorna wasn't going to go back. Maybe she shouldn't have been out at all.
She looked over her shoulder, back towards the entrance. Taking off right now would be extremely obvious, even if every part of her was suddenly screaming at her to run.
