"Gravy, cheese curds, all sorts of other wonderfully heart-attack-inducing things. It's probably a good thing that all of the great poutine stays north of the border or I'd be....very fat by now." He honestly doubted that was true, as he'd spent the majority of his childhood in Canada and the excess of available poutine hadn't influenced him that much. Then again, when something was actually plentiful, did you really want it as much as when it was unattainable? Absence makes the stomach grow fonder as well, apparently.
