"I guess, I don't know really, maybe, yeah." she answers, pausing in her padding off into the evening air. She hesitates a moment, not having expected to be stopped before even getting away from the grounds. Cess bit down on her lower lip and shoved her hands into the pockets of her jeans. She wasn't really dressed for the weather, jeans and combat boots and a soft angora sweater.
"It's kind of a long walk." she says by way of explanation, not really wanting to admit to the fact that she had been planning on hitch-hiking, just to add a bit of excitement and danger to her life. She shrugs slightly, "If you don't mind that, I would like the company though."
After a moment she tried that smile again and this time it came out right, it seemed more warm and genuine. She meant it, company was definitely a good thing with her current mood being what it was.
