"Just let me know which one I should use," he nodded. He'd known enough people who went by multiple names that the prospect of her using aliases wasn't all that foreign. Hell, even he had a few that he alternated between.
"Oui," he agreed, nodding. "Xavier seemed to be on top of things like that. Seein' the good in people." God knew that when he'd first met the man, he didn't have much good going on in his background. Not that Remy had ever been anything he would consider even close to evil... but he did steal from folks for a living. He wasn't exactly a candidate for sainthood.
When Anna/Marie/Rogue started walking again, he followed, remaining relatively silent. She'd wanted to talk, and he wanted to let her say whatever it was she felt needed to be said. Something about other mutants getting their powers back... face still remaining neutral, Remy started to piece things together in his head. She'd been at the school, wasn't anymore... which could be explained just by the fact that she seemed a little too old to still be in school. If Ororo was checking up on her because other mutants were getting their powers back, though... well. that suggested something else completely.
He opened his mouth to bring it up, but a family up ahead paying their respects at one of the burial sites made him close it again. Wasn't the kind of thing he needed to be talking about while they were still within obvious earshot of other people. Especially if it was something she was trying to get away from. Most folks who moved to other parts of the country to become bartenders with fake names were trying to avoid something, and he wasn't about to mess with that.
"I tried to catch up to them after I left the bar," he replied, nodding. "Seemed to more or less just disappear after the police left." He shrugged. "I'm real sorry. About Wayland."
"So." He lifted his head again to look at her. "Gonna go out on a limb for a second here and take a guess at the reason your friend came all the way down here just to chat about mutants whose powers are comin' back." Pausing, he nodded slowly, then raised an eyebrow. "You havin' trouble with that?"
