Here's something for everyone to take a peek at. It's not about sex, or orientation. Just gender. More like, what gender means to you, personally. It's the Gender Aptitude Test, originally written by Kate Bornstein in My Gender Workbook (which I don't actually have, to my dismay.) Kate did give permission for it to be reproduced on one site, but almost all of that site's content is down, including the test. I found it again on another site, but I am not sure how long it will stay up there, so I am copying the text here. ( Kate Bornstein's Gender Aptitude Test ) (Edit: Sorry. Florida's Amendment 2 looks like it's going to pass. right now it's got a 62% lead with 98% of votes counted. California's Prop 8 looks like it's going to pass too. 53% to 47%, but it's only 37%... but all the early votes have already been counted. And I think in Arkansas it is now illegal for gay couples to adopt children. As happy as I am about Obama winning the presidency, the rest of this right now is leaving a sour taste in my mouth. |

Conversation What do guys want to talk about when they first meet a girl? How does a girl get a guy to want to go out with her more than say 12 times? What do guys want to talk about after say three months of dating the same girl? Is it more about shared interests, or do guys actually care about conversation? |

make-up Women: eyes are a naturally beautiful thing. Why do some of you cover them with make-up? Eyeshadow, mascara, false lashes, etc. it's rather aggravating, it doesn't make you look better at all, it makes you look insecure and covers up your natural beauty. |

So. Question to straight guys: Why do you bug lesbians? I mean really. They're lesbians, which means they aren't going to date you, ever. So why do you continue to flirt/hit on/harass them after you find out that they're lesbians? I mean, as a bisexual dude, I totally understand the 'woah... *drool*' factor of two chicks getting it on together... but it's not that hard for me to shut my mouth and keep it in my head. |
