His scent had such an intoxicating effect on her as always. It always reminded her of something that she could never place her finger on, it was frightening, exhilarating, seductive...comfortable. It was the scent of coming home after a long stay away. It was sea breeze and musk with the heady sweetness vampires possessed. The longer he leaned into her, the more her senses picked up on it, memorized it. "If you did order me away, I'd have to stay," she grinned as he stepped away, "after all, I hate orders."
She watched as he backed up, slid smoothly into the chair, calmly knowing that her own curiosity at his supposed proposition would keep her there. He knew her already...perhaps better than he should. "Alright," she finally acquiesced, moving back to the couch and sliding on, placing her arms imperiously along the armrest. She raised an eyebrow, amusement dancing with the mischief in her eyes.
