Mina raised an eyebrow, appraising him with her pale eyes as he began to cross the room, the smile returning again to her lips. She didn't deny the allegations. "Yes. Although I have had worst assignments." She wasn't going to lie about her motivations, it was pointless to do so. Slowly she crawled back off the couch, approaching him from behind. "And it doesn't bother you that I'm only here on orders? That I'm here because someone else wants me to be rather than that I want to be?" She grinned, sliding herself between him and the glass wall, bending her leg and propping one heel up on the glass so he had to look at her. Reaching out, she slid the cooling glass of blood from his hands, setting it to the side on a small table. The grin lingered on her lips, a bit sly as she trailed her arms up to rest on his shoulders. "So you like my complications?"
She tilted her head to the side, drawing attention to the bared expanse of neck and cocked her eyebrows at him in that challenging way that came so natural. Leaning in closer to him until her neck passed so innocently before his lips, not quite touching as she tilted her head at him. "You have a chance to have me walk out that door right now...simplify things for us both." She slid her hands from his shoulders and patted his chest as she stepped away, a bounce in her swagger as she headed towards the door again. With a laugh, she turned around, walking backwards, "Here, I'll make it the easiest order you've ever given. Just say goodbye." Leighton couldn't be too angry if she stopped coming back cause she was banished. It was an easy out for them both. She could walk out and then...never see Alexus again. The laugh died lightly on her lips. It wasn't entirely a welcome thought, even if it was the smartest. Her voice was decidedly serious. "It's better this way. Before there's any attachment."
