Grimm grinned, though the Cheshire cat smile had really left his lips since had gotten here, as she agreed with him. He wasn't oblivious to the fact that she clearly didn't have a lot of experience with dating. He just didn't care. "I can say with confidence this is the best date Ive every had." He paused as she moved to rest her head on his chest. "And I am ... pretty familiar with dating protocol." He smiled as he looked down at the top of her head. Grimm shifted slightly as he moved to wrap his arm around her waist to hold her close to him.
Her body was both soft and firm against his. He couldn't not remember another time he had felt this comfortable with a girl. His fingers caught a piece of her hair gently. He had no idea how much times was going by as they lay there in a completely comfortable silence. A silence that was only broken by the sudden sound of her humming. He shifted slightly so he could look at her again as he tried to place the song she was humming. But it was new.
If there was any doubt that he had fallen completely in love with this girl it was gone the minute she started singing. Her voice was entrancing. His eyes never left her as she sang. Even her words of love brought a grin to his lips. He wasn't crazy. She was feeling the intensity of this feeling just as he was.
He almost protested her pulling away to sit up but he released his arm from around her. Instead he followed her, easily pulling himself up. "Don't be sorry." he told her as he reached out to turn her face back to him. "That was beautiful." He held her eyes for a long moment. "I think that feeling is mutual." he told her, "I'm in awe of this feeling. Its impossible that I just met you and I already can't imagine not knowing you." He stopped when the thought occurred to him that his words might be a little too intimate for so soon. At least he had stopped short of telling her he thought he was already in love with her.
