Lita did not believe in love at first sight, but she was quickly coming around to that idea, because the way her heart felt, the feelings moving through her as their lips moved together, his hand on her waist, holding her close as they kissed on the roof of an old mausoleum in a graveyard. She could feel Grimm's smile against her lips and she had a matching one as she found her confidence and kissed him back. She had no idea how much time had passed as their lips acquainted themselves to each other. But she was breathless and flushed as he pulled away from her gently, his hand on her cheek. Her own hand was gentle on his cheek and they were looking at each other in a way that was entirely inappropriate with the level of intimacy they were displaying, having just met a few hours ago.
As Grimm informed her that they could definitely call this a date, she was smiling as she'd never smiled in her life. There was no way this man was real. This was a dream, it had to be. Was this love? Or was she just so lonely and inexperienced that she thought it was love the moment a man paid some genuine attention to her. Sure she was often catcalled or complimented by strangers, but she hardly found those to complimentary or genuine. This felt...so magical and real.
She was already swept off her feet. "I think you're right, Grimm. I mean I'm not super familiar with how dates work, but I think this probably qualifies."
Resting her head on his chest, she didn't question the feelings anymore. Maybe she wasn't cursed. Maybe this was her sign that there was more to life then the anger and the vengeance Loa said was her legacy. She could hear his heartbeat in his chest and it was soothing, the warmth of his skin warming her through the slight chill in the NOLA air.
The silence wasn't uncomfortable as the two of them just basked in the magical feeling that was obvious they both felt. She didn't realize she was humming until she felt him stir to look at her. Lost in the magical moment, she let the song she had been suddenly writing in her head come out in a haunting melody. Grimm was only the second person to ever hear her sing, Loa being the other.
"Tie the knot, tie the noose. Here we lie, in love and truth,in a coffin built for two."
"When all that's left, is skin and bones, I'll still have love... for you."Lita looked up at him from her place on his chest, their eyes meeting and holding. He didn't look freaked out at her singing, but entranced.
"Rest in Peace, rest with me, through the dark, and through the light, I'll hold you close, I'll hold you tight, Forever yours, forever more, forever more..." Her voice was melodic, but still held a smokey rasp to it that was unique to her. She lowered her eyes and looked back out over the graveyard.
"So close your eyes, for one last time, if tonight we fall asleep, I'll pray my soul be yours to keep." At the 'yours' her eyes met his again and it felt like lightning in her soul as their eyes held. Holding out the last note, she softly repeated, "to keep."
Her voice and song seemed to weave a beautiful spell in their own magical wonderland, which was an old graveyard in New Orleans. "I'm sorry," she said softly, sitting up gently. "I don't know why I did that. It just popped in my head." She paused and looked away. "You have a strange spell over me."
