His car was one of the few places that Os didn't have to think about being Ian. Though sometimes he found it hard to tell the difference between Osbourn Callen and Ian McAllister. Especially around Ressa. He knew beyond any doubt that he was completely in love with her, both as himself and as Ian. It would break his heart when this came to an end. But it was what it was.
He shook off the feeling of dread that momentarily enveloped him as he turned his car on to the private road. It his favorite of Ressa's residences. It was beautiful and secluded. Best of all here it was just him and Ressa. As he pulled his car around the side of the of the Italian castle. He took his time getting out of the car. He needed to get in the the head space. As Ian, He had spent the weekend on "business" away from Ressa, brokering deals for syndicate. In reality he had been meeting his handler, planning those deals and next moves. They had made so much progress in the case. They had more than enough evidence to bring down Ressa but there was more and Os had to keep fighting that the syndicate would not die with Ressa's arrest. They needed to bring in all the players. Privately he couldn't help but marvel at the skill and leadership it too to create an organization that would survive her imprisonment.
The minute his foot planted on to the gravel drive he was no longer Os, he was Ian. He moved with a confidence that boarded on arrogance. He was completely at ease as he moved up the stairs of the castle. Though the double triangle tattoo on his inner forearm was barely visible he moved easily past the handful of guards that stood by the door. They didn't even try to stop him anymore.
He was barely in the door before he was greeted by the young maid, Maria. "Good afternoon Mr. Ian" She spoke in English with her Italian accent thick. Ian's Italian was rusty and he could only pick up on some words (Os's on the other hand was perfect and he always understood what the conversation when they were in Italy.) She smiled at him sweetly before offering him a glass of wine from a silver tray. "Thank you." He told her as he picked up the glass. the girl started to point him in the right direction to find Ressa but he wasn't pay attention. he was already on the way to find her.
It took him only a moment to locate Ressa on the veranda. It was one of her favorite places at this time of day. he hesitated before he approached her. Drinking in the view of her beauty. In all his life he had never known a more beautiful woman. He smiled to himself before he slipped his phone out of his pocket and snapped a photo of the woman standing in front of him.
"I believe I have discovered the reason men invented cameras." He announced as he stepped out on the their veranda to join her. He sipped his wine for a moment before he reached her and greeted her with a gentle kiss to the back of her neck.
