Thread: Annabelle and Tuck
Who: Annabelle and Tuck When: A couple weeks after the earthquake Where: Lion territory, Annabelle's soon to be new office What: First meeting Rating: Low Open: NOPE Annabelle found it fortuitous that she had found the perfect location. Sure the building needed a little work but it was structurally sound and just the right size. While she had a place to stay since she had left the hospital it wasn't hers. I she was going to be stuck on this god forsaken island she needed to carve out a place for herself. She wasn't a shifter and she didnt have a pack to fall back on in times of need. What she needed was to set up a business, that way she could still practice her craft while providing for herself. When she had spoken to Richard last he thought it was an amazing idea, of course he wanted her off of the island but lord knows how long that was going to take. And Annabelle was not the type to sit idle while she waited for who knows what to happen. As soon as she was physically able to she went exploring, which was how she found this location.
Annabelle wished Richard could be there to help her, she missed him there was no doubt about that. Thankfully though she still had her cell phone and could talk to him whenever she needed to. At first they called so many times a day but were able to work themselves down to one time a day, unless there was an emergency. Richard still had all of his work and now he was involved in the protests of what was happening to the island she was stuck on. Talking to her husband was definitely a highlight of her day. He reminded her how strong she was and that she could do this. Standing in the large front room she was planning to use as her office Annabelle surveyed the rubble laying on the floor. It was not going to be an easy task but she knew she could clean this up in no time. With a nod she pulled her blonde hair up in to a messy pony tail and shook off her over shirt which left her in the white tank top and jeans and got to work. It was a few hours later when she paused again, her clothes covered with more dirt than she knew what to do with but Annabelle felt accomplished. All that was left were a few larger persistent pieces of rubble. She had managed to drag on beam close to the front door but stopped to take a breather before attempting to dragging it out the door. When she looked around the room now that it was cleaner she could definitely see the potential, one corner would be her desk and another would have some couches for clients to relax. With a happy smile on her lips she brushed a strand of stray hair out of her face and took a hold of the large piece of wood before starting to drag it out her front door.
