As he lay down beside her, propping his head up while she brushed the hair from his eyes, he smiled. Perhaps this was what he wanted, what he needed to get himself out of the rut he was in. He needed something different, something pure that wasn't tainted by fucking and a one night stand. What was it called? Friendship? "Hmph."
The demon didn't think much of that. In fact the demon spent quite a bit of time figuring out ways to kill his only other friend, who happened to be a vampire. The demon simply didn't like vampires. It was a comfortable silence that stretched out, as if it was completely natural just to lay here beside her. "This is weird," he muttered. Maybe he'd just gone too long without sex and it was messing with his brain, making him do all sorts of weird and confusing things. Like telling a girl not to have sex with him. After all, it had been like 27 hours since he'd had sex last and that was just unnatural. Was he losing his mojo like in that old movie with the spy with bad teeth?
