Cyrus nodded as he took a sip of the cool blood. He was careful to lick his lips before he spoke, to ensure he didn't have any residual blood anywhere. That tended to freak out humans. "I was kind of a freak before I was a vampire," he admitted. "I couldn't relate to any of the regular humans." At her other questions, Cyrus paused for a moment, thinking before he answered. Was he really any different now?
"I never really thought I'd changed from when I was a human. I'm not any happier being the undead then I was being alive. The problems that were supposed to go away when I was turned didn't. They just got bigger and even harder to ignore." A contemplative look passed across his features as he thought about her question. A small frown crossed his lips.
"I didn't really have any friends as a human and even my family thought I was a freak. But as a vampire, I have friends, I have a family that doesn't think I'm crazy."
