He accepted the gentle kiss Adele offered and returned it as well. He smiled at her question before he answered her. "You were you, My Love. Your beautiful, fiery and intelligent self." he told her. He could still remember the night he met her. The attraction and connection had been so instantaneous and so perfect. When he left that party he was sure he would be heart broken with his new wife and he still could not believe his luck when Adele had walked through the door.
Marius let the door close behind them when they stepped away from the frame and turned to lock it. He smiled when he turned back to his wife and once again placed a hand on her back to gently guide her out. He had parked his car in front of the hotel, know they would be leaving again. He smiled as he opened the door for her. The small wrapped package already visible on her seat. It contained a true antique from China. A pair of beautifully embroidered earmuffs from the Quin Dynasty, and even if they weren't worn, they made a beautiful decoration. "After you, My Dear." He told her with a small bow.
