Re: (ooc note: Italics means spoken in french!)
"Oh?" Marius definitely had Adele's attention, though he had it before. He had it as soon as she had walked in to the lobby. Adele had missed her husband, that was for sure. But there was just something about this trip back. Perhaps it was because they were home essentially. They had not seen Paris since they first left years ago. It felt good to be home, like the place just welcomed her in. Being here now, with her husband was the only place she wanted to be. As they walked toward their room Adele fell in easy step next to Marius, her shorter legs keeping up with his longer stride out of years of practice. She unconsciously leaned in toward him, bright eyes turned up for a moment as she smiled. The different weight of the new ring she wore on her hand drew her attention to it and she could not help but wiggle her hand a bit as she thought about the tradition he had started.
"I am hungry. That was quite a long trip." Of course her husband had one just as long as her. She started to enter the room but of course paused as Marius started the lean toward her, the kiss he pressed on her lips causing her to sigh softly. One slender hand reached up to trail her fingertips delicately down his cheek before she pulled away and smiled softly at him. "I wont be but a minute." Stepping the rest of the way in to the room Adele removed her coat revealing the black dress she wore underneath. Her hat was next to go. As she gently pulled her hat off the red curled locks tumbled down around her shoulders, the shade a more subdued red. Giving her husband a sweet smile Adele grabbed the smaller bag of the three the bellhop had brought in to their room before he left and carried it in to the bathroom with her. Giving Marius a playful wink she closed the door and turned toward the counter. She had touched up her makeup in the car and did not wish to completely wash it off. But there was nothing wrong with a little washing up. After checking her hair and her makeup in the mirror Adele washed her hands properly but as she moved to grab a towel something heavy drew her attention to it. Scooping up the little rose box Adele gasped at it's beauty as her fingers played along the gold edges. Instantly a large smile blossomed across her lips. Throwing dignity out the door Adele flung open the door and burst out just as a girlie squeal slipped from her lips. She found her husband lounge comfortably in one of the large chairs in the room. Racing over she threw her arms around his neck and practically flung herself in to his lap as she pressed her lips to his. " THANK YOU MY LOVE! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!"
