Joey wasn't surprised by her reaction. "Giuseppi, but everyone mostly calls me Joey," he answered. "Chang had to leave," he added simply. The bouncer came and left, and Joey had to admire that about her. She was stronger than she gave herself credit for. "I can calm you, or help you calm yourself," he offered with a slight smile, his own voice slightly husky considering he really wanted to jump her. But it was something more.
