As Hideki came out of the bathroom and spoke those words, Kei's jaw clenched for a split second and turned around swiftly, pushing the flask out of his boss' hand and catching it midair while shaking his head. "You know what? I'll do exactly that. Good luck in trying to reach me for a couple of days."
Turning from Hideki, that tightening in his chest was even worse, and after shoving the flask into his back pocket, he stepped into the elevator and pressed the button to shut the doors. As they did, he pinched his nose, leaning heavily against the back of the elevator.
The entire day was pushing heavily on his mind and heart, and everything in him wanted to scream. Though that would have to wait. He was certain he had a stack of papers waiting for him in the office, and the red light district was looking REALLY good right now. As the elevators opened, he pushed himself away from the back wall and walked quickly to the front, slamming the doors open and getting into his car, slamming the doors. Hitting the steering wheel, he slid the key into the ignition and sped off, squealing tires leaving marks on the asphalt as he headed home.
