I have a good question, at least I think it's good. In the first movie we found out it was 15 years since Logan had whatever done to him to erase his memory. He knew Remy then, and Emma was also there. So Obviously Gambit is gonna have to be at least 40 for it to make any sense and add up age wise. And Emma can't really be some young teen running around. Since we're sticking to movie verse that won't really make any sense. So I guess my question is concerning things like that are we sticking with accuracy? |

Hi everyone! Since everyone's doing the intro-thing, I figured I'd hop in and join!
My name's Melissa, usually called Mel, but most widely-known (for better or for worse) as "Mippa." It's a pet-name from childhood (awww) that somehow rose to popularity amongst my high school pals a little over a decade ago. >.< I feel old.
Anyhoo. I got into comics and X-titles back in the 90s while I was a little one in elementary school. How awesome was I, I was that pasty-white German/Irish girl who dressed up as Storm for Halloween in 4th grade. Yeah, that's how awesome I was.
Twenty-something years later, I still read comics (ok, only one - Deadpool) and I am still pinching myself that the X-characters actually had movies. (Back in my day, Generation X on Fox was the height of exciting entertainm--wait.)
I guess I'm kinda showing my age. Welp, as a warning, I stopped really getting involved in X-Men book-wise during the Onslaught story arc...(I think it was when there was a 'big reveal' that Charles Xavier had a 'thang' for Jean Grey - I just shut the book and went "I'm done.") So some of these new-fangled characters introduced at the turn of the century (X-23 wut?) are a little beyond my appreciation. I guess that will make for exciting roleplay!
Lesson for today? Mippa rambles. It'll probably come out in how I play Terry. I apologize in advance.

Hey party people! My name is Nick and I'm bringing the ever loving blue eyed... wait.. mixed up their nick names. So I'm bringing in the Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool! He has a very... unique... history considering this is movie verse. But! Through the magic of modern technology (You mean the key board? Yes.) and the awesome mods approval, I've steered him closer to his comic origins. So I hope you like it! You can find all of his info here in this journal!
I had some ideas to bring him into the game and they're listed under the link above. My main idea was to have him get hired by the clandestine anti-mutant group to scope out Xavier's and find it's weaknesses. After days of watching he realizes that it's a school full of hot, barely legal girls with daddy issues. It must be protected! So he tries to become the unofficial protector of the school. Hilarity ensues. And maybe a couple of fights when you consider Logan is there as well.
