Evie had cried her heart out all the way up the beach, at a pitch that made Cleo afraid that their baby daughter was actually in pain. Her heart broke for them both. Quinn was the calming influence in both of their lives and he was gone. How Cleo had reacted to him being gone the last time was not an option, as she was, for now at least, the soul carer for their baby, and right now, there seemed only to be Cuddy here to help.

Cleo turned her head and caught sight of herself in a window as she neared the apartment building. A large chunk of hair brown wavy hair had changed to a stark, shining white. A nightmare come true. She shook her head to force back tears and walked through the doors of the modern building, looking for Dr Cuddy.

"And then the island pulled this." Cuddy glanced down at Rachel and back to Cleo, letting the other woman know that she would have used stronger words had it not been for her daughter's tendency to repeat things. House had been out of their lives for a long time, and she still heard pirate talk from Rachel.

Cuddy brushed some of the sand off. "This may need a wash. Let's go this way." She turned and grabbed the double stroller with Linda and Natalie, leading the way inside the nearest apartment. "C'mon, Rach. It's okay. Mommy's here." Rachel followed and Cuddy hoped Cleo would too. "We always get through these things."

	Cleo resisted the urge to make a sarcastic comment about washing the rabbit, but she knew Dr Cuddy was trying to help, and if they felt anywhere near the same they were both stressed and tired and Cuddy's was trebled by the number of children she had to deal with. Cleo trailed after Cuddy, throwing one last look back at the beach. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"I've already taken a look at my kids. No obvious injuries. The twins landed in the stroller, and upright. Rachel's been quiet, but I think it's just the situation. I'm going to take another look at them soon. I'd like to take a look at Evie then too." Cuddy said as she led the way down the hallway.

"Hello? Anyone else around?" She called out and stopped the stroller by one of the apartment doors. "I'm going to step inside and take a look around. Can you stay here in the hall with the kids?"

	"At least find something heavy first," Cleo warned. The shift in realities meant any visions or dreams she'd had before weren't valid. She wasn't sure at what point she'd figured out that was a thing, but it definitely was. "I'd like you to look at Evie please? And me, this..." she lifted the white streak. "...wasn't here before." 	Dreams. House would love it; he'd want to try cognitive pattern recognition again. Cuddy would rather have simple cases that she could solve and keep Chloe, Evie, and her own daughters safe and well. "Did your dreams show you with any other symptoms?" She asked. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"We'll leave the bedroom door open. If she needs anything, she'll call for me." Cuddy had done it before, usually when checking on House. She wasn't' sure if any of them would be alright when faced with the latest strange situation. Or if she'd find a serious, hidden injury on Cleo or one of the babies.
