Who? Alec & Lex (Open to running into others?)
Where? The beach, then the Nexus Complex
When? This afternoon/Early evening
What? Arrival
Rating? Let's say PG-13 for language, knowing these two
Not for the first time in his life, Alec wondered how the hell he managed to find himself in his current situation. Usually it was his fault, he could admit that. Sticking with Max on her crusade, that was on him. Bar fights, pissed off significant others, even angrier sector cops or mobsters, usually it was his bad. However, he'd never managed to fuck up so royally that he landed himself at a beach, facing an enormous, towering building, with no memory of how it happened. The last thing he remembered he'd been at Terminal City, trying to find out where that redheaded pain in the ass Lex disappeared to instead of taking her shift. "This is what I get for taking transgenic babysitting duty," He muttered to anyone and no one, "Thanks Max. Awesome, love it. 'You need to take more responsibility, Alec. I trust you being my second in command, Alec.' Now this."
He continued on his tirade as he walked up to the structure, figuring it would be best to at least do some recon on the building. He didn't trust it, didn't trust anything, but it was the only sign of civilization in sight. Maybe he could at least look around, find some answers as to how he got there. After watching for a while, he noticed how freely everyone came and went...and he did mean everyone. He saw at least two blue 'Nomily like creatures, someone brandishing a wand, and a girl with green hair. This made him confident they wouldn't panic the moment they saw the barcode on the back of his neck. He entered the complex, on guard but determined. It didn't take him long to spot familiar red curls among the others, confused but curious. Of course she wouldn't seem scared. That steel backbone never ceased to amaze him. "You know, it's one thing to be late to your shift Lex, it's another to bring me to...what is this, Shangri-La? Yeah, I'm calling it Shangri-La,. Anyway, bring me here looking for you. Tell me you know what the hell is happening."
