Kenzie wanted to lean into his touch, but she kept herself as still as possible to prevent herself more pain and heartache when he would eventually pull away. She shook her head slightly at his words and gave a small shrug. "That's your opinion," she said quietly.
She glanced up at him then and let her eyes connect with his. "I don't like disagreements, but I don't like this even more. I never wanted this as a solution. I should have just stopped talking to him." She broke eye contact then to stare at the floor. "I don't think he'll keep bothering us. I told him to bugger off."
