Auror Investigation Goes Wrong
On 22 May, 1978 at approximately 1:30pm an anonymous tip to the auror office prompted an investigation of the Selwyn household. This investigation was expected to go smoothly. However, upon the discovery of a number of dark artifacts, Sigeberht, Cenhelm & Deorwine Selwyn attempted to remove the aurors from the premises. A fight ensued, and with the passage of the newest statue to Wizarding Law, after numerous attempts to subdue the three, they were executed. Unfortunately, during this, Skylark Selwyn, wife of Cenhelm, was killed by a stray spell. Surviving, though injured, are Delphine Selwyn and Magdelena McCormick. Sigeberht leaves two surviving sons, Cenric and Ceadda, who currently attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. |
