Her warm smile only grew wider as he spoke. "Honey, it's a good thing your a good guy because you are terrible at lying," she replied with a happy tease. He started growling and cursing out loud, which had her settling her hands on her hips. "Now that was just fresh. At least offer my mom and I dinner first, you know? Manners." Reaching up so he'd see the motion, she patted his cheek to reassure. "And that's where I can help. I'm good for a spar or two, or I can drag you out into civilization for some fresh air."
