Lilith had been doing work stuff when the snow started falling and it was not greeted by any sort of enthusiasm by Lilith. It meant that she was ill-prepared for her walk back home. She did not have the appropriate shoes for this, at least they were closed-toe so it could have been worse. It didn't change she was unimpressed about it. However, really it was just a bit of snow and it would probably go as quickly as it had arrived. Maybe a day or two of the white stuff and it would be gone. She just had to have an unpleasant and maybe a little slippery walk home. She'd survive.
When it came time to head home she figured she could stop for coffee that way she could keep her hands warm. Lilith bundled up as best she could and headed out into the winter wonderland in June. That was not expected. It was like that Christmas special, Christmas in July or whatever it was. It wasn't very good neither was this. But she wasn't going to complain out to the network about her feelings on the matter because it really wasn't that bad.
Lilith stopped for her cup of coffee and it was in hand as she started to walk home. The warm cup was welcome against her hands as they were already a little chilled. Maybe she could bug Alastair later and tease him about warming her up. Make an adult hot chocolate and teasing Alastair sounded like a fabulous evening. She was well on her way walking through town towards her home, normally not a long walk but definitely taking a bit longer with the snow and the shoes causing her to slip and slide she had to make sure she walked with a purpose. The girl had not grown up with snow and still wasn't entirely prepared for it on a regular winter. She was in her own little world thinking about her evening plans when she felt something hit her. Was that a snowball?! She stopped to look around trying to figure out where it had come from.
