WHO: Rook O'Keefe and Ellie Fairchild (and Alastair Sciarra later)
WHAT: JAIL
WHEN: Tuesday, 6/9; 10pm
WHERE: JAIL
RATING|STATUS: JAIL Medium for swearing, probably | In progress
Most days in town were quiet and most nights even quieter. Folks tended to be well-behaved and relatively quiet, at least in terms of breaking the rules. Not that Rook could blame them, given the severity of punishment for major infractions. It did, however, make the majority of being an enforcer incredibly boring. Now, Rook liked boring, especially in his personal life, but sometimes he wished that he could be of more use than just patrolling the perimeter of the town, where he saw nothing unusual, or occasionally accompanying a supply team, and also seeing nothing--at least on supply runs there was actual danger of being caught or having to make a quick getaway. None of which was to say that he ever complained (to anyone except maybe Dax sometimes) or wished for the town to be less safe. Just that maybe people could be a little less perfect. Which was why when they got the call about a girl who'd had too much to drink, he jumped at the chance to handle it. Now, usually when Eloise Fairchild was doing something she wasn't supposed to be doing, she wasn't alone, which kind of made him suspicious (but a lot of things made him suspicious of rule-breaking). "No Arleth tonight?" he asked, walking up to her on the street, hands in his jacket pockets against the chill of the night, despite it being June. |
