After a busy Friday and Saturday evening Eros was looking for a chill and relaxed afternoon. He had spent a large portion of his day already lounging on his couch with some light reading, you know a medical textbook and many cups of coffee. Eros had sent a text off to his sister to see if he could stop by. He could do with some twin time if he was honest. She was the reason he was here and part of the reason that made it bearable.
Now that Eros was here and saw how difficult it was to communicate with or even visit the outside world he knew that there really had been no option but to follow Eris here. He might find the place utterly boring and he took issue with the filter of information coming in he was still glad he could be here with Eris and for that matter Hector. He knew that had he not followed he would have ended up here anyone once Eris found out what the place was actually like. He would have been far more bitter about being here if it had been less his choice. Though sometimes he did dwell a little too much on what he had left behind. At least thinking about his ex had stopped he finally moved on from that.
The chime of his phone was a return text and was given the go-ahead to stop by. Normally, he would just stop by but today he wanted to be sure she was there, but then again where else would she be. Where was there even to go in this town at the best of time, let alone a Sunday afternoon.
Eros tossed his textbook aside, threw on a sweater and shoes and headed out the door. Eris and Hector’s place wasn’t far, so it really was a testament to how lazy he was feeling today that he didn’t want to go over without checking first that she was there. Really, it had been a few late nights in a row which was unusual for him.
He walked up to the door and knocked before opening the door slowly, “Hey! I’m here.”
