It is a good question. I would think that allowing the hypnotism to take place in the first place is the initial stage of consent. The safest way to go about it would be agreeing on a list of things that are okay, and ones that are not at all acceptable. I do not know enough about the details behind hypnotism to know if it's possible to actually override someone's wants, or if it will only work if the desire is there, but if it is, then it would be interesting.
