I don't think so, or if it's possible, it's just taking a while for me. I don't like heights. On a roof with a harness was about as much as I could manage.

Auction is stressful interesting. Do you need like a full explanation?

Auction's been explained in fascinating detail, but thanks for the offer. 'Interesting' seems to be the least you could say about it.

And I have to ask - what's the story with the roof and the harness? Don't tell me New Haven took you away from a prospective future as a roofer...

Okay, good. I don't remember it being explained to me very well when I started. Interesting is the nicest thing I can say about it.

I was headed for generalized contractor work but the opportunity presented itself and it was very shiny. But yeah, I did a little bit of everything except electrical, mostly carpentry. But in five years, about half the teams I worked for, it was like pulling teeth getting anyone up on a roof because they were all afraid of heights. I was just the least terrified. It's not so bad if you keep the curtains drawn all the time.
