"You're the jerk," Gwen murmured back in a voice that didn't really sell it. "Making me lay here waiting for you to wake up. It was boring." She tipped her eyes up to him, offering him a smile. "Morning." She shifted just enough to be able to kiss him lips before returning to her comfortable snuggling position.
Sure, there would probably come a day when she'd resent the fact that school and OsCorp and saving the world all ranked higher on the scale than their relationship, but for now, she was busy too. They were still young, and while their feelings felt serious, they were both growing enough as people that she was okay with the moments that she had with him. Plus, her boyfriend was Spider-Man. That was something to be proud of, even if she could only brag to a select few.
