'Twitch' ([info]twitchmaddox) wrote in [info]newdublinrp,
"Don't leave the car. Wouldn't dream of it." She nodded. Honestly, she didn't really care what he did. Okay, that was wrong. She cared, but it was easier not to care when she didn't look. Which was why she was a hacker. The damage she dealt was at a distance. Sure, sometimes it had real world consequences (most times), but it was all digital to her. If she didn't see him doing anything, then she didn't have to think about it. Besides, she wasn't naive enough to think this sort of stuff didn't happen.

It probably wasn't the first time Twitch's hacking resulted in people getting hurt either- in a more direct way. She'd taken down security in a number of buildings for clients. Granted most of the time she did it to point out flaws in the systems, there were a handful of challenging jobs she'd taken just for the challenge- without thinking of the repercussions. After all, no one would know she had a hand in it except her. If you don't have to face your demons- you don't have to confront them.

Twitch got into the car and dug in her bag for a wireless jack and an attachment for it to keep her masked, as well as protect her against any Black IC. "Doesn't sound too hard." She wasn't cocky, just confident.
