Lili seated herself and sipped at her coffee for a moment before nodding. "Trouble with the babysitter apparently." She never appeared upset about it, just very accepting. Even with things the way they were now, all the modern day conveniences, not being able to find a reliable backup to your babysitter was still a real issue. She was glad she didn't have that problem.
Finding something else to say was the one thing she did find rough. Lili was a quiet kind of person. She wasn't very animated unless she was in the net. She always assumed that was why it was so easy for her to be lost in the background sounds for most people. She didn't really care that she wasn't the center of anyone's world.
"From what I hear, your work has been going well lately," she finally did acknowledge his help with the murder case, though slightly so that others may not overhear.
