The race had been awesome. Jimmy won against everyone who challenged her. It was sort of a free for all so a lot of amateurs showed up to challenge the top racers. On the down side, it wasn't a high paying night, most of the races were for small amounts because it was people putting up their own creds. But she did made a bit of off side bets, betting on Rigs or Sealgair. As was tradition after the race Rats either went back to HQ or to Luke's. That night most went to Luke's. Arm in arm with Rigs, Jimmy entered but as soon as they did Mike was pulled away by a group of guys. She playfully nudged his shoulder and told him to stay out of trouble before finding an empty booth to crash in.

Jimmy Wise was wearing a green t-shirt and grey hoodie under her leather jacket. Her cut draped her shoulders proudly displaying she was a Sixth Street Rat. She ran a hand through her dark hair as she flopped down in a booth, putting her biker boots up on the booth as she sat long ways on the seat. As she leaned an arm on the table she spotted a familiar face and gave a wave. "Hey Beth," Jimmy grinned. "Join me." As she waited to see if the other Rat would join the waitress came over to get her order. Loaded cheese fries, a coke and a cookie dough malt was her order.

Beth was just about as likely to wear a dress or skirt on any given day as much as Jimmy was, though they both knew that someone Beth had managed to put on a dress a few more times in her life than Jimmy had. Not only that but when she did, it was black. So the color suggestion was perfect for Beth, but when Jimmy mentioned wearing a suit the ceremony, Beth laughed. "We can probably both wear pants to the reception, but I'm sorry, we're going to have to find you a dress, too. We may just have to go through every possible choice before finding one that suits you."

"Ma's gonna be so happy. Another day out of the year she can get me in a dress." Church based holidays, like Easter, had been the only days she'd worn dresses throughout the year. Jimmy shrugged. "Guys have it so easy." Which was probably why she wore guys clothing. She leaned in a little as if sharing a secret. "We set the date by the way, end of the month on the 30th. Of course, if it weren't for family we've just gone to the courthouse and done it quick like." Mama Murphy would have loved that, and shown her love with the most crushing bought of guilt and disappointment the likes the SSR had never seen.

Their drinks were brought out and Jimmy happily took a spoonful of her malt. She knew it was really bad for her, but god it tasted good. "Way to go tonight too, meant to say sooner. This one guy was totally up in the 'girls can't race' vibe- and thought I was one of the guys. Kept betting against you. Nearly took him for a grand. So... this is on me." She chuckled.

Beth nodded in agreement. "Oh yes, mine will be ecstatic a well. Her only girl acts like one of the guys, I hear her cursing under her breath about it daily," she chuckled. "Yeah, I don't think that the family would be all too happy if you eloped. I'm sure that somehow, I wouldn't even hear the end of it. Seeing as how we're friends, I would have totally been your witness."

She laughed, rolling her eyes, "we get at least one every night. The fact that I'm top five means jack to those guys." She took a sip of her Coke and smirked, "just means I'll be getting a sundae once I'm almost done with my fries."

"Of course you would! You do know you'll be walking down the isle with AJ right?" Because of course her second cousin and 'adoptive' brother of Mike was gonna be her fiance's best man. "Hope you can handle him." Because the leader of the Rats was a bit of a handful.

Jimmy laughed. "I think I can condone a sundae," She smiled. "And yea, about as frequent as a Rat Trap hitting on me because she doesn't realize a) I'm taken and b) not interested in girls." At least that was something that Jimmy didn't have to deal with on regular. Sure, getting into the SSR she worked her ass off to prove herself because of course AJ and the Captains knew she was a girl, but a good chunk of the lower members, probies or guys who just came out to race, thought she was a guy. So she didn't get as much flack.

Beth tapped her chin in thought, smiling. "You mean my boss? I don't know..." she laughed. "I'm not sure that he'd recognize me in a dress." It was true, even when Beth wasn't at work, she was wearing pants. "So will we be wearing our cuts with our dresses? Because that may help us feel a little less uncomfortable."

Beth then blinked, tilting her head. "Aren't girls supposed to be more intuitive? Even bimbos like them," she thumbed into the direction across the room where a couple of Rat Traps were trying to give out lap dances or something. "Granted, I've had one or two hit on me, as well," she shrugged. "I'm into the thought of getting with a girl, but I don't think that I could ever see myself with one of them."

Jimmy shrugged. "I think the fact that some of the guys refer to me as 'him' might throw them off. That or they see a Rat and don't care, just want the status." Because becoming an old lady was something that was respectable. And earned a girl a lot of cred. It also meant they were protected. "As for cuts during the wedding... In the church, no. But that's normal. Once we get to the reception though, sure as shit all the guy's'll be wearing theirs so I'm sure gonna be wearing mine.
