Phone call to Jason
The last thing Zel ever expected was to hear that voice again. Let alone see that man. It had been over twenty years since she seen or heard of him. But apparently, her being on television had the man feeling he needed to see her. It also didn't help that she had Morgan with her when the man approached her. SHe'd used her body to shield Morgan from him, but his words burned into her mind. She belonged to him, and she would never escape him. She was shaking at work, while Morgan did his homework. She decided to call Jason.

Just hearing Jason's voice calmed her nerves a bit, but not enough. "Hey.." Her voice was shaking as she tried to control her breathing for the most part. "If you're busy... It can wait.." She said softly as she looked at Morgan's math work. Shaking her head. "No, that's not the right format to use." She said to the boy. It's what she taught us he replied as Zel shook her head. "Well, your teacher is an idiot if you do it this way you'll never get the correct answer." She said with a firm nod. "Do it the way I taught you, and tomorrow I and your teacher are going to have a long talk." She said as Morgan smiled and went back to his table.

	The main reason he’d brought her to his home was to make sure she’d recover after her close call. He didn’t expect her to stay, though he hoped she’d keep trying even when she went back to her place. "Can I stay... a little longer..." She said her voice shaking for the moment as she came to try and control herself. Her head shaking. "Hello Zelda. Is all that would be heard over her head at the cafe as she came to look up.

"...Morgan... Go to the back and do your homework..." She said as the boy had an unsure expression but did as told, Zel at this point had lowered the phone for the moment. "My, you've grown out nicely. But I saw what you did... That's very bad, Zelda... Bad girl, do you remember what happens when you're a bad girl?" Is all the older man said towards her. Zel on the other end was breathing heavy. ".. You need to leave. Now."

“You can stay-“ He was about to say ‘forever’ when he heard the other voice. Jason went quiet and listened. “Zel, is anyone else there? Your boss? A customer?” His fingers clenched around his phone. “You’re in the blue, average police response time is the lowest in the Blue than any other territory. Too many rich people. Someone can be there in under five minutes.”

Zel listened to Jason over the phone. But the man across from her had her full attention at this point. "Now.. Be a good girl for me, or... " the man stopped as he glanced towards the back, just as she did the same to see Morgan standing there. Her teeth grit for the moment. "Touch him, and I swear to god I'll kill you."

The man was older and faster than she was as he gripped her shirt and the phone fell to the floor. "Morgan get in the room and lock the door!" She screamed out at the boy as he did as told just as she was pulled over the counter and the phone fell to the floor.

That was it, his son was on the line. Jason flipped to a second line and called the police. Had she been in the his kingdom and not at work he’d have a group of knights dispatched but in this case the cops would have a quicker response time. “Yea I’d like to report a robbery at The Zzyyxx Cafe. This guys threatening the girl behind the counter and customers.” He then hung up, the blue was too full of the wealthy elite of New Dublin to not respond efficiently.

Flipping back to the other line he closed his eyes and tried to listen for anything. As he did Jason gathered up his students and sent them to free train for the rest of class as he hurried to his office.

Zel wasn't aware that Jason had called the cops, for the moment with the phone down all Jason would hear is the struggle and grunts from between the two of them. Right now, she was thankful for going to lessons at Avalon as it helped her for the moment. But a man was a man either way. No matter how many hits she'd managed to get in.

It was barely five minutes that she heard the sirens of the police cars rushing over, which caused the man to shove her against the wall and grip at her neck as she struggled. "This isn't over Zelda." Is all he said as he took off from the cafe.

Zel was already breathing heavy when the police arrived. Ze-- mom! Is all that Zel heard suddenly as she looked back to see Morgan rush at her and hold on tightly, just as she did in return holding to the boy tightly.

	Jason grabbed his coat, but what wa she really going to do? There was no way he’d get there in time. Or before the police. The last time he’d raced into the Blue it had taken twenty minutes and he’d almost lost Zel. He paced in his office as he heard the police sirens. “Zel?” God Damnit. 	When she heard Jason she grabbed the phone quickly. "Yeah.. We're here." She said softly into the phone. "We'll be home in an hour." She said softly as Morgan held tightly to her while the police split in half. Two stayed with her while two others went in the direction she told. (Reply to this) (Parent)
