No, all wasn't lost yet. This whole 'relationship' of theirs was based around being casual. It was a release of sorts for them both. A way to relax for Seamus, and a way to get out from beneath the strictures of pureblood living for Astoria. They had fun together. Why end it over a little argument, right? If that was the only thing they disagreed on, well, that was okay. It wasn't likely they'd end up married - Seamus wasn't the type for commitment (at least not yet) and Astoria would be expected to marry some rich boy type sooner or later. The fact that that though prickled at him went hidden behind the downing of his third shot of whiskey. He was six kinds of warm now and Astoria was just so pretty. Would it be such a bad thing if they abandoned any pretense of becoming friends and just went upstairs?
Quickly, Seamus shook that notion free of his head. It was only mid-day and the Three Broomsticks was crowded. He was supposed to be working, for Merlin's sake. So instead he smiled.
