"Okay, will park the landwhale," Babs replied, eyes keen for a space where she could park the vehicle that had once housed a full wheelchair setup. She was lucky to find a spot not far from the apartment, and with coffee and donuts in tow, she made her way up to her dad's place. She had a spare key, so she didn't bother knocking, instead making herself right at home.
"I knew showing you Facebook was a mistake," she teased, setting the coffee out on the table and grabbing a jelly donut for herself. "Just please don't use it to go full scary cop on poor Ted. Dinah has already scared him enough." She took a sip of her own coffee, waiting for her father to slow down enough so that she could plant a kiss on his cheek. "You look handsome." She set her coffee cup aside, reaching up to straighten the knot of his tie.
