"Would you like to accompany me?" It was a strange request, even on her part. Laura didn't much feel like being alone. This kid was out by myself, in the middle of the night, fighting killing ninjas on a rooftop. She was wondering if he even had a home to return to. It was none of her business and she wasn't the kind to ask, so she didn't.
She began to move away, not bothering to see if he'd follow. If he didn't, he probably had better things to do. If he did, they could possibly talk more.
