Damian scowled, hating the fact he had to think about her offer. He certainly didn't need nor want her help, but the idea of letting someone so formidable walk away without learning anything about her vexed him. Research and observation were worthwhile skills but they could never compare with hands on experience. He had to admit, she had a very impressive skill set.
Damian kicked out at his opponent, catching him in the groin, then brought his sword in an upward stroke, slicing the man's stomach open. Then he whirled around just in time to dodge a kick to his side. He was slowing down, whether from lack of practice, fatigue or blood loss he wasn't sure.
Still, he'd been in tougher fights than this and judging from the fighting style (incomplete as it was), Talia hadn't bothered to send the cream of the crop.
"Then find your own way out," Damian called back. "Leave the ninjas."
