"Is that so?" He mused, definitely picking up what she was laying down. "Double and triple checking... We only have a few hours before work, you know. Will we have time for all of that... checking?" He was being cheeky now and he knew it. Oh, they would have time. It just depended on whether or not they'd be getting much sleep afterwards. And by the sound of it, probably not if it were up to Bobbi.
Clint pushed himself up onto his elbows some, so he could look at her better. "I'm here now, baby." He brought his hand up to Bobbi's face and stroked her cheek with his thumb before guiding her in for a kiss. It was moments like these that Clint lived for. He just wish he could have a whole string of them without the fights or without work always cropping up. But it just wasn't the way it was meant to be, he supposed and part of him wanted to remained detached. Or else, then, he'd start wanting things again, things that he could not have - a wife, a home, a normal life...
Granted, he, himself, didn't always play by the rules. And sometimes he deserved what he got for that attitude of his. Which was the say, not all their fights were Bobbi's fault - he had started a good number of them himself. But, right now, he was just thinking about all the... checking he was going to give Bobbi.
He fiddled with his belt buckle before undoing it and pulling the belt clean out of the loops of his trousers and lifting Bobbi up, again, to accomplish the task. This was followed by Clint popping the button with a flick of his thumb.
