Roy relaxed as soon as Ollie said - no. There he had done his "job" so to speak and now he didn't have to carry on with this conversation anymore.
His face became very blank when Ollie spoke again - it wasn't that what Ollie was saying didn't make sense. It was good advice, and some that Roy planed to take once the whole recruitment business was over. Staying away from this whole Avengers thing right now wasn't so much a possibility as it felt like all hands were on deck for it. Short of asking to take one of the jobs that Agent Barton got sent on for weeks at a time (which ... wasn't going to happen. Roy didn't want to be gone, and he didn't do the same exact type of work his boss did.) he didn't see how he was going to at the moment escape Avengers business at work.
"Trust me, I've bee thinking about it." And thinking about what it would be like if his 'dad' started to work with a SHIELD sponsored group. He hoped if Ollie joined he gave 'em all hell, but he also dind't want to run into Ollie while he was at work.
He glanced at his watch; "Well now that that's done, I'm going to go pick up Lian. Figured I'd take some leave this afternoon." Hang out with the family member he had an uncomplicated relationship with.
