If Peter had known the blind man was Daredevil, he wouldn't have followed. Because his best friend, whether Daredevil realized he was that or not, could easily handle a couple of thugs. But he didn't and so Peter was taking care of it.
"Why yes, it's your friendly neighborhood Spider-yow!" he ducked, rather ungracefully, from the punch and then jumped back, kicking up to knock the guy in the face. It set the second burglar reeling and gave Peter enough time to turn and shoot some webbing around the ankles of the one trying to make a break for it.
"As I was saying," Peter said hearing the first burglar collapse onto the ground behind him, "I'm just your friendly neighborhood Spider-man, giving you a hand." The one he kicked seemed to be getting his sense and Peter punched him again, this time an uppercut to give him a boost off the ground. A shot of webbing and he was stuck to the side of the building.
