The lab was, in fact, intact- though it had been dramatically rearranged. All of the work spaces had been cleared off, only to be filled up once again with Reed's new project which was lying in pieces around the lab.
Reed was sitting at one of the work spaces with a yellow legal pad, ruler and pencil, sketching a design. There were small clay models on the work table in front of him, one an oval with the marks to separate four separate compartments, one in the front, one in the back and one on either side. The other clay models were detailed interpretations of the four compartments. He was adding a series of complex equations to the diagram that he had drawn. It wasn't until he had finished the equation that Reed looked up, at Johnny, pleased to see him.
"Thank you, HERBIE. Johnny, I need your help building a car for the Fantastic Four." He said.
