Selina chewed on her take out Chinese thoughtfully. Or as thoughtfully as she could manage with noodles poking out from between her lips. This guy was ridiculous. Utterly. Ridiculous. For the millionth time she was glad to be in dark, dire and desperate Gotham rather that sunny Metropolis. They might as well rename the place "Lexville" after everything he seemed to do for it, or to it, whether it's citizens needed or not. Metropolis had always given her a headache, more so because of him.
Selina jabbed her chop sticks back into the white box, calmly lowering her hand to stroke Mephistopheles' thick white fur as he moved from one end of her sofa to her knee.
"That creep is up to something baby," she muttered as he began to purr under her hand. But he wasn't her responsibility, she really didn't need to think of him. If he'd been based in Gotham, maybe it would be a different situation, but as it was...
"Though I can't help but wish he would give me a little of that money for the foundation." Selina laughed a little at the thought, her fingers wrapping around the ears of her companion.
